Meet I Love You, the band that’s here to invite you on a musical joyride and inject some serious fun into your eardrums.

It all started with Steven Holt, a musical maverick who began tinkering with recordings before the pandemic hit. But when the world went topsy-turvy, Steven found himself pondering the meaning of it all. That’s when he decided to kick things up a notch and teamed up with the one and only Paul Williams. The results of the recording inspired them to form a new band.

Enter Laurel, Steven’s better half and the true driving force behind I Love You’s evolution. Laurel, being the wise and wonderful soul that she is, pushed Steven to embrace his musical passions without holding back. And to have fun. Always have fun.

Inspiration for the I Love You debut album draws from an eclectic musical mix of genres like pop-rock, lo-fi/bedroom pop, nostalgic chillwave, Britpop, and anything else that’s just plain fun. Musical influences include: Italo disco, Erasmo Carlos, Talking Heads, Ariel Pink, The Stone Roses, The Beatles, Scott Walker, and Gorillaz.
